Archaic Roots offers kiln space for local ceramic artists, sculptors, students, educators, hobbyists, and makers looking for an affordable way to fire their work. Rather than letting valuable kiln space go unused, we’re opening scheduled firings to members of our local creative community.
Whether you’re creating functional pottery, ceramic sculptures, ocarinas, whistles, masks, or other ceramic artwork, we’re happy to help bring your work through the final stage of the creative process.

How It Works
Reserve Your Space
Contact us with the approximate size and quantity of your work.
Prepare Your Pieces
Bring your work ready for firing according to the scheduled firing requirements.
Shared Kiln Loading
Pieces are carefully loaded alongside work from other participating artists to maximize kiln efficiency.
Pickup
Once firing and cooling are complete, you’ll be notified when your artwork is ready for pickup.
Community Kiln Firings
Our kiln is typically fired several times each year, with additional firings scheduled as demand allows.
By sharing kiln loads among multiple artists, everyone benefits from lower firing costs while making efficient use of energy and kiln space.
